Reto Gaudenzi and his team of Evviva AG are now in collaboration with POLO+10: For the upcoming Snow Polo World Cup in St. Moritz, which will take place from 29-31 January 2016, POLO+10 will produce the tournament magazine.
The Snow Polo World Cup is one of the most important polo tournaments in Europe and the most important and renowned snow polo tournament in the world. Each year, polo players from all over the world come to St. Moritz in Switzerland to participate in the high goal tournament and to fight for the trophy in front of an international audience and of a magnificent scenery. 30 years ago, in 1985, the native-born Engadin Reto Gaudenzi, back then manager of the legendary Badrutt‘s Palace in St. Moritz, had the idea to play polo on the frozen Lake St. Moritz.
For many years, after Gaudenzi had started to address other tasks, St. Moritz Polo AG was responsible for organising the tournament, the last time in 2014. Then the organisers threw in the towel and the future of the tournament was uncertain. Reto Gaudenzi, who today organises polo tournaments all over the world, now steps in and returns to St. Moritz. In association with his friends and Swiss polo personalities Dr Piero Dillier, Andy Küchel, Werner Meier and Thomas Rinderknecht, he founded the Evviva Polo St. Moritz AG in Spring 2014 to guarantee the continuance of the snow classic in St. Moritz.
Now POLO+10 as the biggest polo magazine in the world has also got on board. Since a few years POLO+10, next to its main editions POLO+10 (German) and POLO+10 WORLD (English), also produces corporate publishing products and tournament magazines for a growing number of renowned organisers of international polo events.
In the past, organiser Reto Gaudenzi and POLO+10 has already worked together on different projects, most recently POLO+10 was responsible for public relations at the 1st FIP Arena Polo European Championship in Baku.
For the first time POLO+10 brings out the tournament magazine for this top-class event. POLO+10 is delighted about this exciting assignment and great collaboration.
Stefanie Stüting, chief editor of POLO+10: “We are very proud to produce the tournament magazine for the 2016 Snow Polo World Cup. This is a true landmark for POLO+10.”
The Snow Polo World Cup will be organised with the support of Cartier, Maserati, Badrutt’s Palace, Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management, Perrier-Jouët and La Martina.
