This season is a remarkable one for Santa María, and surely also a historical one, as the forecasts show that it will exceed the results of past seasons. In addition, after the thrilling high season, Santa María Polo Club has big plans in stock, to start possibly in 2016: their aim is to turn this corner of Andalucía in the quintessential polo and equestrian sports capital of Europe. Negotiations to develop a project with state-of-the-art facilities such as hotels, villas, shopping malls and equestrian sports venues, with an investment of 1.5 billion euros; are on their way, with expert luxury resort developers from China, the Gulf and the US. In this stage, Santa María Polo Club is planning to add showjumping and dressage.
