Luxury Scotch whisky brand, Royal Salute extends their World Polo involvement by supporting the world’s most famous polo tournament on snow, the Snow Polo World Cup St. Moritz. Known as the birthplace of snow polo, the prestigious event runs from 30th January to 1st February 2015 in St Moritz, Switzerland.
Set on a frozen lake surrounded by breathtaking scenery of St. Moritz in the heart of the Alps, spectators will see four of the world’s most celebrated high-goal teams take to the snow to battle for the St. Moritz Polo World Cup on Snow. Recognised around the world as the leading event for polo on snow, the St. Moritz Polo World Cup on Snow began in 1985 and has always attracted world class polo players and a glamorous social following. This year the teams playing are Cartier, Badrutt’s Palace, BMW and Trois Pommes making it sure to be another exciting tournament, and the social highlight of the year in St Moritz.
Throughout the event, VIPs, players and guests are invited to the Royal Salute lounge were they will be greeted by Royal Salute global representative, the 13th Duke of Argyll, a longtime supporter of the Royal Salute World Polo platform.
