From Thursday, 2nd July 2015 to Sunday, 5th July 2015 it is once again time for polo in Monaco: the third edition of the Monte-Carlo Polo Cup will take place! The 10-goal tournament will be held at the new location at Saint-Martin de Peille up in the beautiful hills of Monaco, only a 20 minutes car drive away from Monte-Carlo. Four teams with international polo players from all over the world will compete against each other on a luxurious private domain’s field, nestled in the Monegasque countryside, the “Domaine de Vire-Vent”, and will fight for the “de Grisogono Trophy”.
Francesco Mitrano, Founder and President of the Monaco Polo Federation: “The place is perfect for polo. We are very glad to fix a contract for a few years. That gives us and the sponsors the possibility of proper and safe planning.”
Again the tournament stays under the high-patronage of Prince Albert of Monaco and will be inaugurated with the traditional parade of riders and horses in front of the Casino Square, in the heart of Monte-Carlo. This polo parade is the only event after the worldwide known Formular 1 races, which is allowed to use the place of the Monaco Casino. Three days of sport and glamour with cocktail parties at the bay of Monaco, the traditional hat competition, a Haute Couture Designer’s catwalk and exciting polo chukkas will follow. Many celebrities will once again attend the venue and witness the exciting matches. Highlight is the charity gala dinner for the benefit of the “Princess Charlène of Monaco Foundation” on Saturday.

5.15 pm: Ladies Hat Contest (jury chaired by the Monegasque Chamber of Fashion)
6.00 pm: Final of the tournament
6.45 pm: Trophy Ceremony
9.00 pm: Gala Evening around the lagoon of the Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel in favour of the “Princess Charlène of Monaco Foundation”
