After the recent preview exclusively opened to the members of the Guards Polo Club, the new boutique in Jermyn Street welcomes London with a stylish cocktail party.

La Martina celebrated the opening of its exclusive London Flagship Store with a cocktail reception that reunited the polo community in the heart of St James’s. Located in Jermyn Street, the La Martina new store is a stroll from the Official London home of the Royal Family: Buckingham Palace.

Guests included representatives of La Martina’s Global partners Guards Polo Club with the CEO Neil Hobday, Region Manager Maserati North Europe, Mr. Peter Denton, Royal Salute, dignitaries such as the President of the Federation of International Polo (FIP), Mr. Nicholas Colquhoun-Denvers, the HPA Chairman Brigadier John Wright and patrons and players from all over the world. Other guests who joined the event with their pleasant company were the Marchioness of Milford Haven, the bloggers Xenia Tchoumitcheva and Tamara Kalinic and the singer and actor Jules Knight.

La Martina Brand Ambassadors’ Malcolm Borwick and the Marquess of Blandford, George Spencer Churchill and Eduardo Novillo Astrada, participated in the horse parade that was held on Jermyn Street, showcasing the brand’s core products: its polo technical equipment.

VIP guests had the pleasure of being chauffeured by luxury Italian car marque Maserati in a fleet of stylish Quattroportes so that guests were relaxed to enjoy the Royal Salute whisky. Gaucho restaurant offered a variety of Argentinean style canapes.

The concept of the store echoes the most authentic brand philosophy: it combines the British taste with the cozy furniture typical of polo clubs. Inside the store there will be images and items (trophies, historic photos, saddlery) that inject enthusiasm into customers.

La Martina is long since operating in UK acting as official supplier of the English polo teams at University of Oxford and Eton and it is present in North, Central and South America, Europe, Middle East and South East Asia with more than 70 exclusive stores, among which: Buenos Aires, Palm Beach, Miami, Las Vegas, St Tropez, Milan, Lyon, Porto Cervo, Capri, Dubai, Doha, Cancun, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok and Mumbai.
