A match can´t be more thrilling – in a very gripping final Christian Grimme / Matthias Sdrenka (0), Lukas Sdrenka (+1), Gastón Maiquez (+6) and Moritz Gädeke (+3) of Team Bethmann Bank won the trophy of the Bucherer High Goal Cup 2012. With a hard fought 6:5,5 victory the four defeated Team Lanson with Matthias Grau (0), Caspar Crasemann (+2), Heinrich Dumrath (+2) and Thomas Winter (+5).
In the petite finale Thomas Selkirk (0), César Ruiz-Guinazu (+4), Hugo Iturraspe (+5) and Rob Heurman (0) of Team Tamsen won with a 11,5:8 against Team Tom Tailor with Naomi Schröder (0), Robert Lindner (0), Santos Anca (+6) and Cristobal Durrieu (+4).
Best Playing Pony became the fife year old mare Pipa of Gastón Maiquez (Team Bethmann Bank).
The intermingled weather on the three game days at Aspern Manor was not destroying the good mood of the audience. And even the players let themselves not irritate of hard rain and showed top-class well worth seeing matches. Only at the awards ceremony the first sunbeams of the day found their way through the thick cloud cover and lightened the deserved winners of the Bucherer High Goal Cup 2012! Congratulations!
