International teams made up of Russian and foreign players will compete in the championship, once more demonstrating that polo is genuinely the “Sport of Kings”, one that truly knows no boundaries. Superior playing level guarantees a fascinating and beautiful game and the international status of the event draws a diverse audience, ideal for making new and pleasant acquaintances.
Spectators gathering at the Moscow Polo Club to close the season in style, and to greet the autumn may enjoy a tasty lunch and sample sparkling wine by Sensimi. They will also be treated to Father’s Old Barrel cognac and creative cocktails made with Nastoyaschaya vodka.
At half-time, between the second and third chukkers, guests are invited onto the field for divot stomping – a long-standing tradition for putting torn up pieces of turf back into place. A chance to act out a role made famous in Pretty Woman and a souvenir photo opportunity from the polo field with Moscow countryside for background. At the end of the match, there will be an award ceremony during which best player and best pony of the tournament are announced. They will receive a special prize from the match partner – Embassy of Argentina in Russia.
