In the past few weeks a total of six teams competed at the Torneo Clasificación “90 Aniversario de la AAP” in Palermo for the last two open spots at the Hurlingham and the Palermo Open. The qualifying tournament had to be postponed several times due to bad weather conditions. Last Sunday the last matches took place and the two winners are now determined: Chapaleufú and the young team Miramar (all four players are younger than 30 years) have made it and will start at the Hurlingham Open 2014 and the Palermo Open 2014.

Thereby Bartolomé Castagnola (+9), the founder of team La Natividad, won’t be present in Palermo for the first time since 1995.

In the Hurlingham Open Miramar will play in the same group as La Dolfina, Alegría and La Aguada Las Monjitas while Chapaleufú form a group with Ellerstina, La Aguada and Magual.

At the Argentine Open in Palermo Miramar, La Dolfina, La Aguada and Magual compete in the group matches. In Palermo the team opponents of Chapaleufú are Ellerstina, Alegría and La Aguada Las Monjitas.
