For the German national team sponsored by POLO+10, the next match at the Polo European Championship in Chantilly is on Sunday at 3.30 pm. By a narrow margin the team lost against Italy by 8-7 on Sunday. The equalizer to 8-8, that would have led to a fifth extra chukker, scored Moritz Gädeke after a good pass from Peter Kienast just split seconds after the final whistle of the match. “Altogether we presented us strongly and played very well together. In the third chukker there was a weaknesses in our organization, but the Italians couldn’t exploited that.”

With France not just the host comes up to Moritz Gädeke, Sven Schneider, Peter Kienast und Caesar Crasemann on Sunday, but also an extremely good mounted team. Although France is likely among the favorites of the tournament, the team went with a 4-4 out of their first tournament match against the Netherlands. In the fifth extra chukker the French team scored a penalty goal after a foul of the Dutch.

Moritz Gädeke: “My personal aim would be to finish in the top four of the Euorpean Championship. But you clearly have to see that the team handicap of +8, which is played here, is rather comparable with +12 in Germany. The teams are strong and in terms of performance close to each other. It remains exciting.” POLO+10 keeps the fingers crossed on Sunday!!
