Bridgehampton Polo Club is back for a 17th season. The sporting event that epitomizes a quintessential summer afternoon in the Hamptons will return to Two Trees Farm for six consecutive Saturdays from July 20th through August 24th, offering Hamptons tastemakers an unparalleled polo experience.

This season, the VIP tent remains by-invite only. With the sport as the primary focus and ultimate backdrop, field-side garden areas will give patrons an unparalleled view of the match. They will enjoy a pre-game reception with summery cocktails, light hors d’oeuvres and entertainment, while mixing and mingling amongst some of the most prestigious luxury brands in the world. On the field, the Monty Waterbury and Hamptons Cups are up for grabs as some of the top players from around the globe compete. Already, several teams have confirmed their participation, including home team, White Birch Farm.

Veteran polo publicist and event organizer Shamin Abas and her team, who also handle Greenwich Polo Club and the High Goal All-Star Polo Challenge in Palm Beach, are once again at the helm of the operation. Changes by the PR and special events company in recent years have created quite a favored buzz in the media, and amongst the close-knit, hard-to-tap Hamptonites who enjoy a low-key environment. In fact, the news even caught the attention of The American Academy of Hospitality Sciences, which awarded the club the coveted Five Star Diamond Award at the completion of the 2011 season.

A limited number of field side tailgate tents will be available for purchase, and serve as the perfect place to entertain. To set the mood, a gourmet picnic and champagne for ten is included in the purchase price.

The public is also invited to enjoy the match from the sidelines. Tickets are available at the gate for the price of $20 a car. For more information, go to www.BridgehamptonPoloLLC.com
