Today the world-renowned Tortugas Open start at the Tortugas Country Club and by this sound the bell for the Argentine Triple Crown. From September 24th to October 12th six high goal teams, separated into two zones, will compete for the Copa Emilio de Anchorena. In today’s opening match at 4 pm (local time) team La Aguada will encounter Alegría in zone A.

At about the same time as the Tortugas Open, the qualifying tournament for the 120th Hurlingham Open and the 120th Argentine Open take place. Together with the aforementioned Open, these tournaments form the Argentine Triple Crown, a series of the most prestigious and important polo tournaments worldwide. The Hurlingham Open start October 15th and will be held until November 3rd, the Argentine Open take place from November 16th to December 7th.
