The highlight of the Argentine Triple Crown is about to begin: Tomorrow the 120th Argentine Open in Palermo, Buenos Aires, take off. Eight teams, consisting of the best polo players worldwide, will compete against each other until December 7th. The Argentine Open are the third station of the Argentine Triple Crown, a series of the most important tournaments worldwide. In the opening match on Saturday, November 16th, Ellerstina Piaget will face Chapaleufú. The match is followed by the second encounter of Zone A, Alegría Sancor Seguros versus La Aguada ICBC.

Favourite teams are La Dolfina Hope Funds with Adolfo Cambiaso (+10), David Stirling (+9), Pablo Mac Donough (+10) and Juan Martín Nero (+10) as well as Ellerstina Piaget with Facundo Pieres (+10), Gonzalo Pieres (+10), Mariano Aguerre (+10) and Nicolás Pieres (+9). The team led by Adolfo Cambiaso has already won this year’s trophies of the Tortugas Open and the Hurlingham Open.
